GEOMAP UI/UX
GeoMap is a geolocation application that presents interactive maps with contextual information layers about businesses, events, and points of interest. The app targets urban users who need to discover relevant places based on their location and preferences. Its differentiator lies in a prioritized layer system that displays only the information relevant to the current context, avoiding the visual overload typical of map applications.

> geomap@mission-control:~$ diagnostics --run ERROR: Conventional map apps load up to 200 simultaneous markers in a single view, collapsing the base map's readability. WARN: Contextual information (businesses, events, transit) is presented without hierarchy or filters based on user intent. CRITICAL: The map must be the central element; any interface control that obstructs it defeats the application's core purpose.
The interface occupies the full screen with the map and overlays minimal floating controls that disappear during active navigation. A smart cluster system groups markers by zoom level, revealing individual elements only when the user zooms in. The sliding side panel displays details of the selected point with photographs, hours, and reviews without leaving the map view. An augmented reality mode is also integrated for pedestrian navigation in dense areas.
