PLAYSTATION ECOMMERCE
PlayStation Ecommerce is an online store concept for PlayStation hardware and accessories that merges Sony's visual identity with a truly premium shopping experience. The design goes beyond the conventional catalog: each product is presented as a piece of engineering that deserves to be explored before being purchased. The project targets gamers who value aesthetics as much as functionality, and demonstrates that a gaming hardware store can feel as sophisticated as the brand it represents.

> playstation@mission-control:~$ diagnostics --run ERROR: Official gaming hardware stores present products as inventory cards: front photo, specifications in a list, and a buy button. The average conversion rate for these catalogs is 1.2%. WARN: The DualSense is a visually attractive product with textures, colors, and details that are not appreciated in conventional static catalog photos. CRITICAL: The shopping experience must feel as premium as the product itself. A generic checkout devalues the brand perception of a 70 USD accessory.
The store features immersive product shots on dark backgrounds with dramatic lighting that highlights every curve and texture of the hardware, turning the product page into a visual experience comparable to an Apple launch. The visual configurator lets users customize DualSense colors in real time, rotating the 3D model to view each combination from every angle. The checkout is simplified to 2 steps with fluid transition animations that maintain the premium feel through to purchase confirmation.
