CHUMBI VALLEY
MISSION

Chumbi Valley is a Play-to-Earn game with collectible NFT creatures that combines farming mechanics with a proprietary token ecosystem. The UI concept aimed to solve a common problem in the sector: NFT games tend to prioritize financial interfaces over the gaming experience. This design targeted casual gamers unfamiliar with blockchain, without losing the depth that collectors and investors need to manage their digital assets.

DIAGNOSIS
> chumbi@mission-control:~$ diagnostics --run

ERROR: NFT games on the market displayed wallets,
tokens, and price charts before gameplay.
65% of casual gamers abandoned these games
within the first 10 minutes for "feeling like an exchange."

WARN: The target audience (casual gamers aged 18-30)
rejected interfaces with visible crypto terminology.
The words "NFT" and "token" generated distrust.

CRITICAL: The in-game economic ecosystem required
financial transparency for investors, but that same
information drove away 70% of the casual audience.
SOLUTION

The interface adopts a kawaii aesthetic with vibrant colors that places the gaming experience front and center, relegating the financial layer to a secondary menu accessible only on demand. Creature cards display combat stats and rarity with playful iconography, without mentioning "NFT" at any point in the main flow. The marketplace integrates as a "village shop" within the game narrative, enabling users to buy and sell digital assets without breaking immersion or exposing the underlying blockchain complexity.
